Currently an Illustrator and Concept Artist for Sabotage Studio! I've done keyart illustrations for their first hit game The Messenger and current in development game Sea of Stars.
I'm currently working primarily as their lead concept artist. I work closely with the Creative Director to create characters, monsters, environments, and to previsualize action/story sequences.
Aegis Defenders (2014-2018)
Started in 2014 as a class project, Kickstarted successfully after graduating from University of Southern California, and launched in 2018 as a labor of love. I was the Creative Director by which I mean I did all of the art, design, and collaborated on the story with my wife Lai Xu.
The game was also made a number of other talented folks (Max Palazzo, Michael Effenberger, Lifu Lin, Scott Stephan) but none more important than my sister Kristen Kho who was the sole engineer on the project. The game launched on Steam, PS4, and Nintendo Switch and won several awards, notably the Famitsu Gold Award and a 9/10 from both Nintendo Life and 6th Axis.
